Friday night marked the return of Shadow Taxi from a due to lengthy absence due to computer problems.  Along with Taxibot 1, Taxibot Grim, Nether Taxi, MiniCab and Taxibot Sara2.0 (your humble reporter) we met in STeel Canyon and a badge tour was quickly organized.  Grim was stationed at Nimble Minx (near the Boomtown gate) Tbot 1 was at Hero Corp Recruit (in front of the Hospital)  Nether took Secret Admirer (on the steer behind WentWorths) and I was positioned at Bright Star (on top of one of the University buildings).  Mini cab was stationed at the Yellow line and Shadow at the Green line providing transport back to safety once the tour was complete. 

To advertise the tour Tbot1 put together a macro and sent out a message in zone,  I posted ads on virtuebadges09, Virtue LFG, Virtue LFG Alpha, Virtue TF, and Virtue Monsters (all the channels where I figured the badgers may be listening in).  Grim contacted DJ Angel from Cape Radio an between sets she gave us a very nice plug while she was working out of Pocket D.  Adding to the notification when we weren't busy Minicab jumped on the train and broadcast in other zones. 

In all we provided 12 fares with a very quick tour and every one of them had flowing reports for our efforts when it was done .. all in broadcast adding word of mouth to our advertising efforts.  In addition we did provide a few fare with teleport to the tailor, university and just back to the Yellow line and safety.

Once the tour concluded we headed to the AE building and ran a short story Arc that Taxibot 1 had either seen advertised or had played before himself.  Evryone had a good time chatting and playing together  and we finally said our goodnights and headed off to bed or to play other characters. 

On Saturday a good portion of that same team:  Shadow, Nether, MiniCan and myself (all playing other characters) got together at 5PM Eastern time and along with friends ran the Statesman Task Force out of Imdependence Port.  In 3 hours and 38 minutes we completed the Task Force defeating numerous Arch Villains including Black Scorpion, Ghost Widow, Captain Mako, Scirocco and Lord Recluse along with the Arachnos Flyer.  WHile I am sure that's not the fastest time ever for the TF it was an outstanding effort on everyone's part and we all finished feeling pretty good about the effort.  Oh I shouldn't forget that Grim also showed to join us but we were not certain if he'd make it or not and by the time he arrived the team was already full.  Sorry you couldn't join is Grim but maybe next time...  Next week the plan is to do the LRSF (which I won't be joining since I have no villains on Virtue and will be back in Phlly for Father's Day) after that the next week Shadow (Alpha) plans to do the IFT which would allow heroes and villains to join. 

Sara is currently doing Task Forces for the salvage, recipes, prestige, influence and of course the badges.  This past week she did the Moonfire, Citadel and Manticore leaving her with only Sister Psyche and Numina TFs before she has Task Force Commander.  Badges aside what she is doing is collection merits which she then converts to tier three inspirations and deposits in out Inspiration Collectors at base for anyone to use.  She's also cratfing IO enhancements and placing those in the enhancement tables for everyone to use as well.
